In Loving Memory of Simon Ramkirath, husband to Patricia, father to Dave and beloved by his other 8 siblings. Simon worked as a legal clerk with the Court in Guyana. He was also a teacher and worked as an NIS inspector before migrating to the United States of America. He pursued and obtained his paralegal degree from Blackstone School of Law but worked in the Advertising Agency. He was fond of writing and he wrote 5 Poetry Books that were published by in the United States and sold around the world.
Simon was humble, and was known for his generosity in helping others. He was able to attain “the American Dream” by purchasing a home and having his son complete 2 Masters degree in Science and Education.
He retired at 65 and was enjoying his retirement by traveling and writing his poems. In his last 4 years, his traveling became limited due to him being diagnosed with end stage renal failure which required him to do dialysis 3 times per week. He had many health complications and spent his last 5 months in the hospital, rehab and home. In his weakened state and the tolling consequences of dialysis, he suffered a massive heart attack while doing dialysis on Saturday, April 6, 2024. Simon will surely be missed by many and may he finally find some peace and tranquillity in the after life.
💐💐💐 RIP Dad — from your loving wife, Patricia & son, Dave. 💐💐💐
