Rocky Persaud's Obituary
In Loving Memory of Rocky Chandra Gupta Persaud,
Rocky Persaud, a cherished father, devoted son, and beloved friend, passed away on February 15th,
2024, at his residence in Las Vegas, Nevada. Born to Sandra and Balram Persaud, Rocky was the loving
father of Julius, Alex, Aidan, and Anjolie, and the dear brother of Indira Khan. Rocky spent forty-two
short years with us.
Rocky's early life began in the Bronx and continued in South Ozone Park, Queens, NY. He spent his
formative years as a student at Brooklyn Tech High School and later continued his education at Fordham
University. It was during this time that he forged lasting friendships that would shape his life.
While Rocky may have settled in the suburbs of Las Vegas, his heart always remained connected to his
roots in New York. He leaves behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and unforgettable memories in all
our hearts and minds. Rocky's generous spirit touched the lives of many, earning him the love and
respect of his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His big heart, infectious
smile, intelligence and jovial spirit will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his grieving family, including his mother Sandra and father Balram, his only sister
Indira, his children Julius, Alex, Aidan and Anjolie and numerous aunts, uncles, niece, nephew, cousins,
loved ones, and friends.
We will always remember Rocky Persaud for the love he shared, the joy he brought, and the indelible
mark he left on the hearts of those fortunate enough to have crossed his path. May he rest in eternal
peace.
