William Manser
Osvalds Baumanis was my Grand Uncle by his first marriage. He was a good man who worked very hard in spite of an injury in the war. As a man with one working leg, it would not be uncommon to see him fixing his roof or climbing a 25ft ladder to resolve a random home issue. Nothing seemed to stop him when he put his mind to it. After the passing of his first wife, I was there at his second wedding to watch his young spirit burst with excitement about a new beginning. I am glad to see he lived to 96. He was a kind man and I wish him peace. My condolences to his wife.
