Condolences to all the family .May his soul rest in peace. He will live on in the memories of everyone who knew him.

On behalf of my mom Baby, she is up in the heavens, waiting with open arms, in welcoming of her brother, Baba Chan.
As a kid growing up I remember mamoo he used to visit mom very often in No. 2 Village, West, Coast Berbice. He called me Beepa instead of Deepa. Mom was his eldest sister, so he will visit her often so she will fondly care for him and they will talk
When I got married in the US my mamoo was there to give me his blessings with my cousin Oma. That means so much to me since I lost mom, just a few months before so having relatives from her side of the family feels like having her close to me.
Mamoo was one of the best electricians, he made a radio frequency at our house and cover the cricket games that the boys were playing at the ball field in No. 2; in those days who can do that, as a kid, it was so exciting and we all had a try to speak over the radio; that was a big deal.
Life is so unpredictable today we are here tomorrow we are no longer here, being kind and caring is what we will all take with us one day. My mamoo Baba Chan was one such, kind person, he will be membered in all our hearts. Every time I visited USA a visit to see him was always on my list, he remembers me and still calls me Beepa.
My sincere condolences, to the entire Beeram family, he grow wings and will be flying to be with his sister and brothers
My fondest memories of Baba Chan were his patience and brilliance as an astute auto mechanic and electrician; his penchant for reading the newspapers and engaging in a good conversation as well as his warm spirit and infectious smile. Chan was also a great teacher. He taught his sons and whoever paid attention auto mechanic and electrical installation. Such was his genius that “Papa” told us that back in the days Chan independently installed a cable network at #3 that broadcasted under the banner “Radio #3” which had such strong frequency that it knocked the then sole government station “Radio Demerara” off air in #3 and #4 districts!
As neighbours in Guyana, Chan’s home was our home and vice versa. He visited my late grandfather Daniel ”Uncle Dan” Grant regularly and read the newspapers and then they would engage in very stimulating, thought provoking conversations about life, world events and issues, sports, particularly cricket or whatever were trending topics at the time. He was a very loving, giving, kind, selfless quiet neighbour whose voice would only be heard if & when he imbibed in a few strong drinks. Even after Papa died & he migrated to the US, our families maintained a close relationship. We share your grief and pray that God comfort you throughout this difficult time. Though absent physically, Chan’s indomitable spirit will live on. He will remain a great neighbour and treasure of #4! We will treasure the indelible imprints he left in the sands of time. Condolences to Indra, Oma, and the rest of the family! Love and strength, Fly high, Baba Chan. With love from Cousin Val, Heather, Faye, Jackie and everyone else!!🙏🏾🦅🙏🏾
