Jimmy Walter Williford's Obituary
With great sadness, we announce the passing of Jimmy Williford, who left this world on March 16, 2023. Jimmy was a beloved member of our family and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jonathan Williford; his mother, Frances L. Williford; his brother, Nathan Williford; and his cousins, Janice Keesley Capers and Michael Keesley.
He is survived by his son, Justin Tyler Williford; his siblings, Barry Williford, Alonzo Williford, Avis Williford, Lisa Williford, and Joseph Daniels; his aunt, Linda Reese Starkes; his cousins, Charlie Bannister, Tina Keelsey, Kindu Keesley, Terrence Keesley, Antoine Keesley; his nieces and nephews, Barry Jr. Williford, Christina Williford, Alonzo Jr. Williford, Castell Thompson, Cashaun Thompson, Michael Thompson, Tamorye Thompson, Laurell Smith; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Jimmy was a kind and gentle soul with a heart full of love and compassion. He always sought an opportunity to use humor and invoke laughter from all his peers. Jimmy's passion for trucking was contagious and inspired those around him.
Jimmy graduated from August Martin High School in 1986 and went on to join the Navy. He had a great career as a truck driver working at Grade A Petroleum and Guma Construction.
Jimmy's legacy will live on through his family and loved ones. We are grateful for the time we had with him and will cherish the memories we shared together.
A service will be held in his honor from 6:00pm - 9:00pm on Friday, March 24, 2023 at Bergen Funeral Service. Family and friends are invited to attend in person or virtually via Zoom. Flower donations for the service may be made through the Bergen Funeral Service.
Rest in peace, Jimmy. You will always hold a special piece of our hearts.
