Alissa Villar
Eternally your Allie,
Hi mami it has been a week since your burial. I miss you so much. You were one of the most wonderful and beautifulest women I knew. I could not compare you to anything and wouldn't have traded you for the world. You raised me like your own and accepted me as your own daughter. I spent almost every day of my life with you. I still see you in every flower, every headband , every nail polish, every red lip, every haircut, and every coach purse. I am unbelievably grateful that I had such a beautiful soul like you as a mother. You are by far the best thing that has ever happened to me in my life. You were the one thing I had that would never change. You were my stability. It's almost like God had sent you to take care of me when my mother couldn't. Like as if you were my saviour. The one thing that I will never ever forget about you is that beautiful heart warming smile you had every time you were there to greet me. That smile that was contagious, the smile that made the room light up. If you had never been the mother figure that I needed, I don't know where I would be right now. Without you I don't think I would even recognize myself. Every waking memory of my childhood has you in it. You , boo , krystal, and brianna. You guys are like a second family to me and taught me so much throughout the years. I had never felt so loved. Life has been hard without you and I try to manage everyday knowing that my mami is gone. But it's ok because I know that you were so happy on your trip and you are resting peacefully back with your mami . Now I sit here in my room crying holding your sweater that still has your scent on it wishing you'd come back. I remember just waiting for you to wake up and tell everyone you were joking. I remember praying for you to take a breath, waiting for you to open your eyes. I would give anything to see your beautiful smile again or to at least hear you say Allie one last time.
Just know that you will never ever leave my heart because remember you are the one that showed me what it's like to be loved.
Forever and always, tú Allie
