My condolences to the Baijnauth family. I am from Industry HS but cannot remember this young man, as I left Guyana in 1981. However, I do remember his late father who was a part of the Ramayan Gole and was a stalwart in our community. He always encouraged me to join the gole whenever they went to sing. I also knew his late Aunt (Sunina from Second Street) and his Chachs (Buddie Lalman, Seelal and Tej) who also live in Toronto. I was a former President of the Cummins Lodge/Industry Society and my friends in Toronto (including Preston (Milks)) tell me that he was an integral part of the Kirtan Mandali. Our prayers are with his family and may his Jeev atma attain Moksha.
