From the moment we met in my teenage years, you embraced me with a love so deep, so unconditional, it felt like God placed you in my life as a mother and a friend. You were my guiding light, my comforter, my safe place, and no matter what life brought, I could always feel your prayers surrounding me.
Our connection was more than friendship. It was soul-deep. Bound by faith, strengthened by love, and filled with countless shared moments,laughing, crying, cooking, praying,you poured your heart into everything and everyone, especially me.
You taught me not just how to live with grace, but how to love with depth and to walk in faith with strength. Even in your quiet moments, you radiated wisdom. You never missed a birthday. You always made me feel seen. And in your presence, I always felt home.
Now, though your body may rest, your spirit lives on in me and everyone you touched. I thank God endlessly for the gift of you, my sweet Shakie. I will carry your love, your words, your prayers, and your beautiful soul with me for the rest of my life.
